Explore how we can complement our teaching, learning, and assessment practices with the transformative power of the iPad and integrated AI tools. This session will explore practical strategies focused on the three A's: Accessibility, Assessment, and AI. You will learn how to leverage popular apps to create dynamic and inclusive learning experiences. You will leave with actionable strategies to drive collaboration, innovation, and some things you can implement in your class.

Participants will:

• Accessibility: Use tools like live text, mark-up, reader view, etc to personalise learning and support all learners
• Assessment: Discover innovative, engaging assessment strategies using apps like Freeform, Notability and GarageBand.
• AI Integration: Explore how AI (Gemini, Notebook LM and Brisk) can help you create bespoke, personalised lessons based on the specific interests and needs of your class.

Facilitator: Patrick Hickey

Patrick is an experienced primary school teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience and a profound passion for enhancing teaching and learning through technology. He is a strong advocate for using educational technology to ensure children with additional challenges achieve their full potential, focusing on accessibility and personalised support. Patrick is deeply committed to leveraging technology to provide greater opportunities for collaboration and innovation in the classroom. Furthermore, he is highly interested in promoting greater diversity within the teaching profession and is currently completing a PhD researching the experiences of teachers with physical disabilities.
