WCWAUT26402 Getting Started with Universal Design for Learning.
This 90-minute online webinar introduces participants to the principles and practical application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in everyday classroom practice. The session is designed to support teachers and school leaders in creating inclusive, flexible learning environments that meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with additional educational needs, English as an Additional Language, and those with varying learning preferences and abilities.
Participants will gain a clear understanding of the three core UDL principles:
- Multiple means of engagement
- Multiple means of representation
- Multiple means of action and expression
The webinar will explore how these principles can be applied to lesson planning, assessment, and classroom activities to improve access, participation, and learning outcomes for all students. Real classroom examples will be used to demonstrate how UDL can be integrated without adding extra workload.
